Interim Pastor
Dr. Harper Shannon will serve as interim pastor while the Pastor Search Committee continues to search for a permanent senior pastor.  Dr. Shannon has served as pastor to Huffman Baptist Church in Birmingham, First Baptist Church in Dothan, and Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery.  He has also served as Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention, President of the Alabama Baptist State Convention, Director of Evangelism for the Alabama Baptist State Convention and as a Board Member of Trustee to many other notable organizations.  ESBC is honored to have Dr. Shannon serve as Interim.

Minister of Education
Ken Wilson has served ESBC since 1995 as the Minister of Education. He graduated from Montevallo University and Beeson Divinity School. He and his wife, Kim have four children; Andrew, Adam, Aaron, and Abby. Ken's mission is to equip believers to share the gospel and to disciple those believers to be equippers for the continuing of God's kingdom.

Minister of Music
Tom Noland has served ESBC since 1999 as the Minister of Music. He graduated from Samford and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Tom's desire is to lead others into God's presence through worship. He and his wife, Robin have two children; Julie and Nick.

Minister of Students
Tim Rhoads serves as our Minister of Students. Tim graduated from Mississippi State and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He and his wife, Robbie joined our staff in February of 2000. Minister of Children
Carmen Burkholder joined our staff in May 2005. She is married to Harold Burkholder and they have two children.  Carmen has a true love for children and a desire to make their early years in church a pleasant and educational experience.
